Happy birthday to the best dad I know,
A father I love and respect,
A dad who fulfills all his duties.
To teach, to guide, to protect.
If everyone had such a father,
A really good dad like mine,
The world would be so much better,
It would look like God’s own design.
Dad, I’m praying a birthday prayer for you,
Peace and happiness in all you do.
Lord, my father gave his all for me,
I pray You’ll hear my extra special plea:
Keep him safe so he can still be near;
Lord, my father is so very dear.
Role model, an extraordinary man,
He’s my dad and I’m his biggest fan.
Dad, I’m praying to the Lord for you
That He will give you all the good you’re due
Your gentle but firm fatherly nature
Has modeled to us the love of our Heavenly Father
And helped us to model the same to our own children,
Happy and blessed birthday Dad!
Dad You Mean The World To Me
There’s no one else on earth
like a Dad…
One that cares so completely,
gives so quietly,
and loves so deeply.
Dad, as the years pass,
I realize more and more
just how lucky I am,
and have always been,
to have a Dad as
wonderful as you.
Thank you Dad for giving me
the kind of love that
made all the difference…
throughout my life.
I’m glad I got to keep you as my dad
For all these days and months and ninety years.
You’ve been a special father all that time,
And now it’s time to give you ninety cheers!
Ten cheers for loving me no matter what;
Ten cheers to you for making me behave;
Ten cheers for always being proud of me;
Ten cheers for the encouragement you gave.
Ten cheers for all the fun things that we did;
Ten cheers for always coming home at night,
Ten cheers for teaching me so many things;
Ten cheers for making childhood a delight.
And now this birthday poem is almost through,
So ten cheers, Dad, just for being you!

Another year has passed us by
Since last we gathered to supply
A shower of birthday praises
To our own beloved father.
We bring your gifts, and cake, and smiles,
Such as we could give to no other.
Since long ago, when into this world we came,
We have always called you “Dad.”
Sometimes we gave you trouble;
Sometimes we made you sad.
Sometimes we made you angry,
When we foolishly turned away
From your wise advice and instruction,
And for that we sure did pay.
Each year that we’ve grown older,
Wiser in our eyes you’ve become.
And we often ask ourselves the question,
“How could I have been that dumb?”
But you were patient with our wanderings,
And your love for us endured.
We’ve learned from you, O Father,
Many lessons as we’ve matured.
So, as we gather around to celebrate
All you’ve done for us and are,
We want to wish you a blessed birthday
And a year that is blessed each hour.
